Drug half-life is a term used to describe the amount of time it takes for a medication to be reduced by half in the body. It is also used to describe the amount of time it takes for a drug to be eliminated from the body. Calculation is by measuring the amount of drug in the body over time and determining the time it takes for the drug concentration to be reduced by half. Half-life of a drug is affected by several factors, including the drug’s metabolism, its route of administration, and its affinity for certain tissues. The importance of know the half-life helps with determining the frequency of drug administration.

Sermorelin

Sermorelin is a growth hormone peptide that stimulates the body's natural production of growth hormone. It is used to treat growth hormone deficiency in both children and adults, and has been found to be safe and effective in clinical trials. Sermorelin is available in injectable form and is administered subcutaneously. Generally, the half-life of sermrelin is 30 minutes from the time of injection and taken in the morning, 30 minutes before breakfast or at night before bed on an empty stomach.

Studies have shown that BPC-157 can help to reduce pain, improve wound healing, and protect the gastrointestinal tract from damage. It has also been found to have potential therapeutic effects in a variety of conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease and osteoarthritis.  The know half life of BPC-157 is 6-8 hrs. It is recommended to take BPC-157 twice daily, with one dose in the morning and one dose in the evening. It is best to take it on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before or 2 hours after a meal.
